Discussion results of practical issues of IFRS application in the
Russian Federation were presented at the Round table held on November
23, 2011. The event was co-sponsored by the National Organization for
Financial Accounting and Reporting Standards and Delloite CIS and
supported by the Ministry of Finance of RF.
The Round Table on the problems of transition to IFRS organized by the Foundation “National Organization for Financial Accounting and Reporting Standards” in association with the Higher School of Economics was launched in 2004. The Round Table was designed as an area for discussion of the issues of IFRS implementation in Russia and experience exchange of advanced technologies in financial and management accounting. Representatives of state bodies, chiefs of accounting and financial services of major Russian companies, auditors, analysts, professors and journalists of business and specialized editions participate in the meetings of the Round Table.
